I am a runner. Most recently, I completed my first marathon on February 15,2009. One year prior to that race, I was over fifty pounds heavier and could barely jog a mile.
My primary goal with this blog is to provide an outlet for discussing running and fitness and to help me keep a journal of running and training activities. I also sincerely hope that this blog can help inspire others in the way so many other fitness and running blogs have inspired me.
Having finished my first marathon, I am not sure what is next on the horizon, but I am sure it will be great!

First, you are most definitely a runner and you inspire me so much!
Second, you don’t drive me crazy, I can talk all day about all this stuff. I think it’s good, though, that we have this blog so now we can drive our family and friends crazy!
